furniture burn

 I have made candles for a while and tryed soy wax as I like the way it burns. Then I  made a batch and it burned way hotter than any of the others.

So here I come give me some clues or name of a book to read so I can figure out what I may have done to cause them to burn hotter. As I have 50lb of soy I would love to fit this one.

 I heat till melt at 135-160
 cool to 125
add scent
pour into tin containers
not sure wick size now but will look on my bill for that.

 burned furniture under tin.

Not sure which soy you are using but that is not the proper way to use our soy. All our single pours are made to work for production. All our single pours pour between 170F - 180F, pouring that cool will not make a good candle. The fragrance should really be added a lot hotter to make sure the molecules blend with the wax. Would also like to know what wick and the diameter of the container you are using. You always pick the wick by the diameter of the candle you are making. If you give me a one of our sales staff a call they should be able to get you on track.

All candles should be placed on a non flamable surface regardless of how they are made it is just common sense.
