Hi
I am newly fasinated with encaustic painting.. One of things I have not figured out yet is what kind of paper to us.. I have read people talking about using "card" what does that exactly mean.

You typically do not want to paint on paper when doing encaustic. You want a rigid support, preferably a cradled wood panel.
