Currently I am using ECOSOYA cb advanced. I'm curious as to how your soy wax compares? You are much closer to me than any other supplier. Last time i ordered wax i paid over 125.00 in shipping. I'm not interested in paying that much. Also we recently tried a different supplier for our FO and they were ALL horible very medicinal smelling.
I know that their wax is 100% soy and ours is a blended formulation to work well in candles. I have a little bit of the eccosoya and I haven't tried it yet. So I can't exactly tell you a difference until I try it. But I am very familar with our soy, so I can tell you a little difference in the melting of the wax and pouring. I noticed on the eccosoya instructions that they want you to pour at 95/110 degrees and you can't leave the wax above 150 degrees or it will "burn and turn yellow." Our soy will burn and turn yellow if you have it heating at 200 degree for a period of time, and should be poured at 150 degrees. Plus if you are using our color chips, you would need your wax to be above 170 for the color to dissolve all the way, otherwise you'd have little color spots on the sides and bottom of your candle. Also we don't have any addivitves to keep the soy from frosting. I've noticed with different fragrances I get different frost apperances, some with lots of frost, some with barely any frost. I do know that all soy has a natural tendency to have a reaction with fragrances, because of the properties of soy. And that is why we don't have 100% soy, we have ours blended with vegtiable oil to help bind fragrances.
